What days/times are workshops offered?
DIY Workshops are listed on the calendar as well as our Facebook page facebook.com/cuddlycactusstudio. Check the calendar for specific days and times. New workshop dates & times are added approximately 4-6 weeks in advance. Private events may be scheduled throughout the week and weekend. Please contact us to discuss available dates & times.
What is the cost and how do I register?
Workshop prices vary by project. Registration and payment is simple and done through this website.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Reservations and payment are required a minimum of 48 hours in advance of most workshops. When you register you must provide us with your design selection and any custom information i.e. names, dates, etc. if applicable for your project (ie: wood sign workshops) Please DOUBLE CHECK your information. There is a $10 re-cut fee if your information is incorrect and we need to make you a new stencil. Open Paint does not require pre-registration however to guarantee a design or for any customization you will need to pre register. For our more spontaneous creatives, Open paint does offer several designs and sizes on hand for walk ins that are available on a first come first serve basis.
How long is the workshop?
It depends on the workshop. Most are 2-4 hours with some specialty projects being 6 hours. DIY Wood Sign Workshops generally take 2- 2.5 hours. More complex designs and more talkative participants may have to adjust this time table .
When should I arrive?
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of the workshop, plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to check in, uncork, gather supplies, find your spot and relax. Out of respect for all participants workshops do start on time.
What is your cancellation & refund policy?
All reservations made are non-refundable. Your payment may be applied towards a future workshop for cancellations received a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the workshop for which you are registered. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice and no shows will have either a completed project or project kit available to pick up during business hours at your convenience. Due to staffing, we reserve the right to cancel workshops if attendance is below 4 attendees.
Is there an age limit to participate?
Participants must be 18+ or older most public workshops that start after 6:30 PM. We do offer family friendly workshops, open paint (any that start before 6PM ) children’s camp and parents night out in addition to youth morning workshops. We host mommy and me and daddy and me workshops several times a year for special projects as well as private workshops for any age and up year round.
What can I bring to the event?
Participants may bring snacks & the beverage of their choice. BYOB, beer or wine only, is permitted for participants 21 and up.
What do I wear?
Although it is usually not an issue we encourage participants to wear something you wouldn’t mind getting dirty or stain/paint on in case your or your neighbor get excited while painting. We have aprons and gloves available to use at the studio as well.

What are my parking options?
There is plenty of free parking in the studio parking lot.
